On Tueday 1st June 2010 Surrey Corporate Magician Theo Teaches Magic, Plate Spinning, Juggling and Diabolo at Croydon Council's Children, Young People and Learners Division Consultation Event at Croydon College, College Road, Croydon CR9 1DX.  Firstly Theo The Magician performed his Award Winning Close Up Magic to both Young People and Staff Members.  Theo then went onto teaching the Young People of Croydon Plate Spinning, Juggling and Diabolo. 

The whole point of the day was to give the Young People of Croydon a chance to have their say on the Services provided for them by Croydon Council.

Croydon Council's Children, Young People and Learners Division want to develop their services so that they can strengthen their commitment to achieve excellent outcomes for children and young people in care.  They wanted to hear the views of being in care and by setting up the Children in Care Council to enable Young Peolpe to contribute to the decisions being made about their Services.

For the last four years Magic Circle and Equity member Theo The Magician of Sutton Surrey has been teaching an After School Magic Club to the students of Shrewsbury House School, Thames Ditton, Surbiton, Surrey.  Theo has been teaching the keen Magical students how to shuffle a pack of cards, deal and be confident with the cards. Students have enjoyed learning various different Card Tricks, Balloon Modelling, Plate Spinning, Peacock Feather Balancing and now Diabolo. This has given them a very varied insite into The World of Magical Entertainment. Some of the students have gone onto join the 
Junior Magic Circle

Theo believes and teaches that it's not just all about being able to perform a Magic Trick.  It's about being able to communicate and interact with people. It's the presentation of the Magic that makes it entertaining.  Alot of the mum's do comment to Theo that once their son has attended his After School Magic Club their son's have come out of their shells and interacting more. That's "Real Magic".
