Saturday 24th April saw The Sutton Chamber of Commerce host Smartbiz at The Holiday Inn Sutton. It was sponsored by Lloyds Bank and was for Small Businesses and people wanting to start up their own business.  Over 50 people attended the free seminars throughout the day and were able to seek valuable advise from the business organisations exhibiting.
Theo The Magician entertained both attendees and exhibiters with his award winning Close Up Magic. Theo also promoted his Magic Sunflower Competition in aid of The Neonatl Unit at St Helier and The Royal Marsden in Carshalton.  For £5 you were given a pack of Ten Magic Seeds, Magic Tips and Magic Goodies.  There are prizes for The Tallest, Widest and Funniest Picture with your Sunflower. Theo The Magician Performed  Magic Tricks and Family Entertainment at an Indian's First Birthday at North Cheam Sports & Social Club, North Cheam SM3 9BZ last Saturday. Theo has performed at many Indian First Birthdays. This is a grand celebration for the whole family and has special significance, which are explained below.  Theo performed his Family Show to over 100 children and adults.  As Theo's Magic is fun and interactive both children and adults enjoyed and took part in the Show.  While the traditional photos were taken individually with every guest Theo taught his infamous Plate Spinning, even the adults wanted to have ago.

Purley Caterham Kingswood Magic Circle & Equity member Theo The Magician of Sutton  presented his Magic Sunflower Competition in Aid of The Neonatal Unit, St Helier Hospital, Carshalton and The Royal Marsden, Carshalton at The BNI Foundation Breakfast Networking Meeting.  Theo thanked the Chapter Chairman Cheryl Penry of www.willandprobate.com and Annette Heywood of www.kingswoodecocleaning.com for attending and supporting The Magic Sunflower Launch Night last Monday at Aberdour School, Burgh Heath, Tadworth where over £1,000 was raised. 

Theo performed his Infamous Appearing 50cm Magic Wand out of a burning flame and naming a picked card through a pre printed picture on his Magic Bookmark.

Theo also thanked Brigitte van Bers of www.ilovemybills.co.uk , Savva Zacharia of www.allcomfortsolutions.com and James Blaquiere of www.blaquierebridalhair.co.uk for entering The Magic Sunflower Competition for £5 and receiving ten Magic Seeds and a Magic Pack.

Jeremy Bates, Host: Magic Circle Magician Theo and Tom Brake at Sutton Chamber Speed Networking Workshop

On Friday 26^th March 2010 London Corporate Magician Theo hosted The Sutton Chamber Speed Networking Event at The Sutton Tennis Academy www.suttontennisacademy.com Special guests were, Direcotor of Tennis Jeremy Bates: former British No.1 and winner of two Grand Slam Doubles titles and Tom Brake: Liberal Democrat MP for Carshalton & Wallington.  Theo The Magician, who is also a Member of: Equity, The International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Surrey Society of Magicians explained and ran The Speed Networking Workshop for the 40 Businesses in attendance.  In between the Networking Theo performed some of his Interactive Magic Tricks. One of his card tricks involved Tom Brake holding a pack of cards and Jeremy Bates thinking of any card. Theo then took the pack of cards from Tom, took the cards out of the box to reveal one card facing the wrong way, which was Jeremy’s card. This followed by a woow!!!! and very generous applause.
