Around 50 businesses attended the joint Sutton Chamber & Sutton United breakfast today. A great deal of networking took place with many new introductions being made. Two businesses joined the Chamber and a further 3 or 4 said they will be joining.
The speakers today included Barry Aplin, Commercial Direcor of SUFC, who introduced the Club and encouraged busineses to consider one of the club's sponsorship packages. Adrian Barry, Development manager for SUFC, explained about the club's plans to extennd their services into the community.

Then Brenda Kinght explained how through personal recommendation local businesses can join the elite list of 'The Best of Sutton'. Finally David Duncan, Chamber Chair, outlined the next few events and thanked the Club for hosting the event.

Not only was it very good to network with all the businesses, but it was amazing to hear  from  Adrian Barry, Development manager about the plans to develop the club with access, facilities and teams for youth and disability groups. After chatting to Barry Aplin Commercial Direcor of Sutton United Football Club Theo The Magician offerred his experince of working with disability groups from when he worked for The British Sports Association with the Disabled, as A Development Officer for Buckinghamshire many moons ago. 

Magic Theo was also impressed with Brenda Knight of The Best of Sutton, giving a very good presentation on how she can help local businesses in Sutton.
