Jeremy Bates, Host: Magic Circle Magician Theo and Tom Brake at Sutton Chamber Speed Networking Workshop

On Friday 26^th March 2010 London Corporate Magician Theo hosted The Sutton Chamber Speed Networking Event at The Sutton Tennis Academy www.suttontennisacademy.com Special guests were, Direcotor of Tennis Jeremy Bates: former British No.1 and winner of two Grand Slam Doubles titles and Tom Brake: Liberal Democrat MP for Carshalton & Wallington.  Theo The Magician, who is also a Member of: Equity, The International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Surrey Society of Magicians explained and ran The Speed Networking Workshop for the 40 Businesses in attendance.  In between the Networking Theo performed some of his Interactive Magic Tricks. One of his card tricks involved Tom Brake holding a pack of cards and Jeremy Bates thinking of any card. Theo then took the pack of cards from Tom, took the cards out of the box to reveal one card facing the wrong way, which was Jeremy’s card. This followed by a woow!!!! and very generous applause.

On Monday 22^nd March 2010, Equity Sutton, Epsom, Surrey & London Corporate Magician “Theo The Magician” Launched The Magic Sunflower Competition at Aberbour School, Brighton Road, Burgh Heath Tadworth, Surrey KT20 6AJ. This was “In Memory of Sarah Cure and Bill Shrimpton”. Sarah had a Premature Baby boy Christian the same time Theo’s daughter Elena was born 10 weeks early weighing 2lbs. Christian weighed even less than Elena and his twin brother did not survive. Sarah passed away only 42 years old with Cancer in August 2009. Bill was Captain of Cheam Fields Bowls Club last year and in May 2009 also passed away with Cancer.  His grand children were also cared for at The Neonatal Unit.

Over 90 people attend the Launch Night where Theo arranged for Christian, Elena and Jan (Bill’s Widower) to plant The 1^st Magic Seed. The Magic Seeds were produced Magically out of Magic Tin, which was set alight, disappeared and a Packet of Theo’s Magic Seeds appeared (as Seen in photo above). This was followed by a Magic Show for the Children. The young one’s then disappeared, as it was a school night and the night was followed by an auction, raffle and Adult Magic Show.

Over £1,000 was raised on the Night, which is being split equally between The Neonatal Unit, St Helier Hospital, Carshalton and The Royal Marsden, Carshalton

London Surrey Epsom Magic Tricks Man, “Theo The Magician” attended a lively Networking Event at “Ladies at 11 Plus One” in The Storage Pod, Weybridge. This was organised by Sarah Martin, founder of Ladies at 11, which is Networking for women who are serious about their business. Sarah is a Fit in Life- Health and Fitness Professional and is running in this year’s London Marathon to raise money for Interact Worldwide.  Ladies at 11 is a Ladies Networking Group and every now and again they let the guys attend, thus the Plus One.
