Last week Theo The Magician of Sutton near Banstead and Epsom was very honoured to be invited for his second appearance at Intercem. This time it was Intercem’s 40th Anniversary Conference held at The Royal Lancaster London. In attendance there were over 300 delegates from over 35 different countries.
Three Magic Coincidences of the night!
Coincidence 1: Over 30 years ago Theo The Magician performed his 1st ever Close Up Magic at The Royal Lancaster London after a local Magician Lol James saw him perform his Children’s Magic Show and he was so impressed he asked him to work with him at a Dinner Banquet at The Royal Lancaster.
Theo The Magician shared the entertainment Line Up with the ever-inspiring Motivational Speaker and Concert Pianist Nicholas McCarthy and the very enthusiastic entertaining Ultimate Singing Waiters.
Proceedings were kicked off on stage by Theo The Magician’s Award Winning Interactive Fun Stage Act. This was followed by dinner. Entertainment flowed throughout the evening in-between the prestigious speakers with the Ultimate Singing Waiters, Theo The Magician’s Close Up Magic and Nicholas McCarthy After Dinner Motivational Speech finishing with an awesome performance on the piano.
After Theo The Magician’s Stage Act he was presented by the organisers Intercem a Designer Glass Plaque, in which Magic Theo was very surprised to receive.
Coincidence 2: Whilst Theo The Magician was performing his Award-Winning Stage Magic Act, he thought one of his audience members assisting him looked very familiar. After chatting with him later, the person said, “You did my Wedding at Wotton House Hotel in Dorking over 15 years ago!”
While Theo The Magician was performing his Award-Winning Close-Up Magic, he thought to himself, “What an amazing entertaining evening to be part of, well organised, fun working with fellow entertainers and fantastic to perform to guests throughout the world”
Coincidence 3: Again, whilst Theo The Magician was performing his Award-Winning Stage Act, Magic Theo asked if there were any accountants in the house for a Special Numbers Magic Effect. They all pointed to one person, so Magic Theo had to ask him to join him on stage. Whilst performing this effect on stage Theo The Magician thought “Not Again?” This person looked so familiar. He thought this was a “Set Up”. Again, Magic Theo was chatting to him afterwards and he happened to be the boss of Turpin Barker Armstrong of Sutton. Where Theo The Magician was been hired to perform at their Christmas Party in Cheam and Magic Theo performed a Housewarming Party for his son, who lives in the same road as him in Carshalton.
