Theo The Magician would like to say a Big Magical “THANK YOU” to all the parents and children who supported my One Man Interactive Fun Zoom Magic Show in aid of the Casey Ward's Magic Carpet Appeal at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The Zoom Magic Show managed to raise over £300. Children with their mums and dads had a lot of fun. One of the four-year-olds was totally gobsmacked when he helped me make a Magic Lolly disappear from Theo The Magician’s Magic Studio in Sutton into his living room in Cheam. Bunny Rabbits disappeared, a wand appeared from a flash of fire, children we able to join in rolling dice, calling out and seeing lots of things appear and disappear and the Show finished with a Bunny Copter appearing out of a ball of fire from a Magic caldron.

This is what Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust said:

Theo is already a long-time supporter of the hospitals, having already raised a staggering £25,000 for St Helier’s Neonatal Unit his daughter, Elena, was cared for when she was born 10 weeks early. THANK YOU to Theo The Magician for his unique online magic show last Saturday.  We're thrilled to say the enchanting display raised over £300 for Casey Ward's Magic Carpet Appeal!

The interactive, digital 'Magic Carpet' will be so amazing for our young patients.
With a mobile projector, motion sensor and interactive mat, the magic carpet experience allows moving graphics and games to appear on the ground and reacts to movements - meaning patients can be transported to virtual seaside or take part in a dance-off challenge! It also comes with lots of pre-installed games and apps for physical, mental, and sensory stimulation.
And even more importantly, play can be touchless while the mat is easy to clean and sanitise between uses.

Jessica Start, Play Specialist at Epsom Hospital, said: "In the current environment, this would be a game changer for our lovely young patients. We know that children of all ages will enjoy its virtual technology - a toddler can pretend to splash around in the sea while a teenager can have a virtual kick-about. That's why we've launched an appeal to try and get one for Casey Ward this year. We do know that times continue to be tough for people but if you are someone who can make a small donation, we would be immensely grateful."

Here's what The Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity said after the Magic Show:

'Theo provided a great online fundraiser show for around 20 children aged from 4 to 10 years old. It was very interactive and the children really enjoyed themselves. Plus it raised lots of money for Casey Children's Ward. I'm sure his live show is one not to be missed once events are allowed back on.'

The ESTH Charity also gave this feature 5 stars.
